- YEARN is a youth educational, development and empowerment group formed to articulate youth issues and concerns in the wider global arena. We involve youths by bringing them to round-table talks to seek solutions to their never ending squalid social mishaps. The youth are plagued by up to 40% rate of unemployment in the global scale, whereas in some of the developing countries it's as high 60%. Approximately half of new HIV infections are in youths aged 15-24. We believe that youth ain't a burden, but a resource. Youth are world's greatest untapped resource-half the world's population is under the age 28. We involve youths by educating them on social skills, life skills and providing financial opportunities by identifying organizations that fund youth initiatives and linking them to these organizations. We also do counselling activities, environmental conservation initiatives, and youth-sport development. We would like to appeal for any form of help in this regard, as the youths are the greatest resource that this globe needs now and into the future.
